Meet
Treavon Legend

My name is Treavon Coley, and I am a 30-year-old amateur professional golfer. Like many, my journey with golf began casually, playing with family. However, as I noticed my skills improving, I realized that if I wasn’t going to pursue further growth in football, I should channel my focus into golf and see how far I could take it.
I began dedicating serious attention to my game just before the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when golf surged in popularity. It was the perfect opportunity to refine my skills and evaluate my potential in the sport. Over the years, I worked multiple jobs and pursued various ventures to fund my journey—working as many as three jobs at once, alongside side hustles, to afford better equipment, training, and knowledge.
Despite my determination, my hectic schedule made it difficult to devote the necessary time on the course to improve my game. Eventually, I made the decision to scale back on my work commitments, focusing on a single job after accumulating the necessary capital. This allowed me to dedicate three months exclusively to golf, during which I significantly reduced my handicap from 10 to 5.1.
However, as my financial resources dwindled, I had to return to a more demanding work schedule, which led to less time on the course. Since then, my handicap has hovered between 5.1 and 5.5.
Given the opportunity to focus on golf full-time, I am confident I can continue to lower my handicap and eventually secure a place on the professional tour and obtain my pro card.
Looking back, every experience—from my side hustles in marketing, social media, life insurance sales, bartending, DJing, IT sales, and personal training—has contributed to the person I am today. These lessons have shaped my resilience and determination, proving that persistence and faith can guide you to success.
I am ready to take the next step in my golf career, and I am committed to making the most of this opportunity.
